The name Remember When is taken in memory of a little comic book/movie memorabilia shop located in Farmers Branch, TX.  I spent many after-school hours there bagging comics, meeting people interested in similar things and basically soaking up the 'fanboy' atmosphere. This was back in the 1970s and 80s before comic book and movie-related conventions became mainstream.

 

We started out in the 'antique mall' world basically vending our collections: me with my comics, toys, posters and pop culture collectibles and she with her dolls, cradles, cribs and glassware. After several fairly successful years as vendors, we decided it was time to open our own shop. Downtown Paris, Texas is a beautiful spot for any business and, with most buildings dating back to the 1916 Paris fire, an antique store is the perfect choice for a shop.
